Application for Cameron Gamble Scholarship/Grant


The Caledonian Society of New Orleans (Society) was established to study, preserve, teach, and present the culture, music, and arts of Scotland. As part of this goal, the Society established a fund in the name of our benefactor and founder Cameron C. Gamble to perpetuate our Scottish heritage.

These funds are used:

1) to provide scholarships payable directly to the school, institution, or specific accredited teacher for a designated course of study in the Scottish performing arts, ex: music, dance, etc. It may be used for the purpose of improving skills or working toward certification by attending a specific workshop or study with a certified teacher.

2) to provide grants to facilitate workshops or studies.
